I do not know anyone who does not want to shrink there waistline, lose body fat, eliminate low back pain and develop a jaw dropping series of sexy rock-hard six-pack. It ‘a shame that the brain has been poisoned with information that has been contaminated.

Before you start learning how to get a six pack and discover the truth about what it really takes to build an abdomen worthy of the beach, you must first expose the lies, myths and rumors. Before discussing how to get six pack abs the right way, we have to reprogram your hard drive and empty the trash from the wrong information that has been fed to you.

Because of all this hype and misinformation -even among so-called ‘fitness experts’ – you should be careful when learning about abdominal training equipment and programs. Let us first eliminate the four best ways not to get a six-pack:

Learning how to get a six-pack does not involve starvation diets. Starvation diets starve the muscle when instead, you should feed the muscle. Guess what happens when you starve your body? Metabolism shuts down out of survival and causes the body to store fat. Your body must get energy from somewhere so guess what can be sacrificed? That’s right, precious muscle, which is actually responsible for the maintenance of a high metabolism. Starve the muscle – great logic!

Learning how to get a six-pack does not require costly training equipment promoted through obnoxious infomercials. You can not flick on the TV without seeing at least two new abdominal exercise machines being promoted at a time. There are so many of them that if you get suckered into these gimmicks’ ab workout, you will be broke quicker than Ben Johnson sprints the 100 meter dash! And get this: Of the $520 million dollars a year spent on exercise equipment, abdominal machines get a $208 million dollars piece of the cake!

Learning how to get a six-pack does not require pills to burn fat. What did the last weight loss pill you bought do for you? The same thing the next one is going to do – nothing! Except squeeze your wallet but not a thinner waist line. The whole concept of taking pills to “burn fat” is built on a foundation of sand and misleading because diet pills only treat the symptoms and not the cause. Without focusing on the underlying problems of a fat mid-section, training, nutrition and lifestyle you just end up where it began – taking you further away from your goal of getting a sic pack.

Learning how to get a six-pack does not require thousands or even hundreds of crunches a day. So much for Britney Spears ab workout! Crunches are decent but totally overused. Crunches is a very general exercise and general exercises get general results. Excess floor crunches shorten the abdominal wall, pull your head forward and emphasize poor posture. They also include a very low level of stimulation that negelets adequate muscle fiber formation.
